cogito/esphome

This is standalone ESPHome device builder. It doesn't come from a github repo, it's simply installed via pip

1. create a virtualenv:
    python -m venv venv
   and activate it:
    source venv/bin/activate

2. install needed packages
    pip3 install wheel
    pip3 install esphome
    -- or --
    if present, install from requirements file:
    pip install -r requirements.txt


3. now you can run ESPHome locally

    to create a new configuration (for a new device):
        esphome wizard configuration_name.yaml


    to compile and flash firmware:
        esphome run configuration_name.yaml


    to run esphome web dashboard:
        esphome dashboard devices/
